Michele Della Vedova, Licensed Massage Therapist.
Michele began her Massage Therapy Practice 19 years ago and brings experienced healing techniques.Specializing in Neck & Back pain, Deep Tissue, Sports Injuries, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. Michele trained at The Massage Institute of New England in 1989 and continued her education over the years to include many forms of massage. She practiced for over 12 years in Boston Massachusetts in a reputable pain clinic which included working closely with Chiropractors,Acupuncturists, Naturopaths and Physical Therapists.She has volunteered for the Boston Marathon performing post event treatments & various events such as the annual cancer awareness walk. She most recently she spent 3 years in Kauai,Hawaii where she studied Lomi Lomi, a traditional form of Hawaiian Massage which uses soothing circular rhythmic strokes with a generous portion of Aloha to relax and nurture the spirit. Michele treats a variety of conditions from acute injuries to chronic conditions & stress reduction. Her techniques utilize stretching and acupressure points to relieve muscular strains and tension. In addition, Aromatherapy is incorporated through a combination of essential oils to relax the mind and cleanse the system. Add to that a bit of reflexology and you will experience a deeply relaxing & rejuevenating treatment. |
