Is this the right choice for Me?

Everyone who is trying to lose weight has different goals and lifestyles. This is not a quick-fix program or crash diet. This is a long-term goal and long-term change program that can help you to reach your goals and stay there. It isn't a short cut, it's the real thing. If you just want to lose 5 pounds by next week but don't really care about after that then this probably isn't the best choice for you. This is designed for people who want to truly understand and listen to their bodies and create permanent change.

What does this program not do?

This is not human growth hormone, stimulants, artificial anything or starvation. This is about learning to actually listen to YOUR body and give it what it really needs. It's about eliminating hunger and cravings, boosting your heart health, controlling your blood sugars and normalizing your hormones.

How much does it cost?

You control your costs by controlling how frequently you come to the office. In general I suggest no less than once a month at first until you really understand your body.

Do I have to buy and take lots of supplements?

Typically, no. If you have a particular barrier like toxicity, hormone imbalance, blood sugar issues or insomnia then some supplements may be necessary, but we'll keep those to a minimum.

Does insurance cover this?

Insurance does not cover naturopathic medicine in Texas at this time.

How much weight does the typical person lose?

Every person is different but generally with small steady changes we usually see a half pound to a pound of stubborn weight disappear each week (that can be 50+ pounds a year!), and if you are especially motivated and goal oriented then we can see more. More than two pounds per week is not sustainable or healthy for your body and if that happens we'll slow down. Weight lost more quickly tends to also rebound very quickly and we don't want the rebound.

Does this work for everyone?

This program does work for everyone who is willing to make changes. It won't work if you just come for a chat and don't change anything about your lifestyle, but I'm guessing you knew that already.
